DESCRIPTION We are looking for a talented Senior Scrum Master to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for our Cummins Inc. facility in Columbus, IN. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: The Scrum Master role is a unique Agile team member who dedicates much of their time to facilitating communication, coordination, and cooperation among team members, ultimately assisting the team in achieving their delivery goals. As a servant leader, the Scrum Master enables teams to self-organize, self-manage, and deliver through effective Lean-Agile practices. They support ScrumXP, Kanban, and other methodologies adopted by the team and help coordinate with other teams on the Agile Release Train (ART).
RESPONSIBILITIES To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
Education, Licenses, Certifications: College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required. Agile Certification (Certified Scrum Master - CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or Safe Scrum Master Certification (SSM) are preferred. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience: Experience working in a software development organization and in an Agile environment as a scrum master demonstrating knowledge and practical experience of the Lean methodology, principles and tools are preferred.
