Job Summary Job Description Senior Technical Lead, RBC Capital Markets, LLC, Jersey City, NJ: Lead technical architecture, design, and implementation of the data fabric platform to meet Data Analytics and Client Insights. Lead design and build of the ingestion and transformation pipelines using Spark, Azure Databricks and Delta Lakehouse. Design and build distributed processing engines using PySpark to support highly scalable big data transformations. Actively involved in building data pipelines for batch and real-time flows using Solace to move on-prem workloads to cloud, Microsoft Azure. Actively participate in the application modernization initiative to transform legacy monolithic architecture to loosely coupled micro-services architecture by leveraging containerization technologies like Docker/Kubernetes. Implement and monitor application performance indicators and health checks to identify any potential outages before they occur and perform mitigation. Define DevOps functions required to build software and deploy applications across various Test and Production environments. Collaborate with QA and Business users to review testing methodologies and help build automated regression test suites. Lead junior developers/interns and provide technical guidance on design and coding best practices and perform code reviews. International travel required up to 10%. No domestic travel required. The base salary for this job is $151,819.00 per year. This salary does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
