Responsibilities

Peraton is looking for an experienced Senior Compliance Technical SIGINT (TechSIGINT) Analyst to provide invaluable support to our government customer's Office of Compliance for Cyber and Operations. The Office of Compliance ensures that operations align with regulatory requirements, and as part of this team, you will help define and enforce compliance standards across critical domains such as SIGINT, Cybersecurity, Defense Industrial Base (DIB), and TechSIGINT.

This role will be pivotal in assisting with the development and implementation of compliance controls for mission-critical systems. You will utilize your deep technical knowledge of signal analysis to ensure compliance in the collection, processing, and retention of SIGINT data, focusing on advanced areas like COMINT, ELINT, FISINT, PROFORMA, and COMEXT. Your expertise will directly contribute to the continued success and integrity of national security operations, with a strong emphasis on compliance within the TechSIGINT space.

Key Responsibilities:

    Compliance Monitoring & Evaluation: Leverage deep technical understanding of signal characteristics to evaluate compliance during signal processing, collection, and retention. Ensure that signal parameters are properly identified and defined, capturing behavior within both RF and digital domains.

  • Requirements Development & System Alignment: Capture and refine system requirements to ensure alignment of stakeholder needs with development activities. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure that mission objectives and compliance standards are met.

  • Training & Development: Provide training to users and groups on compliance processes, best practices, and system requirements. Develop comprehensive training materials and execute training sessions to improve the user community's understanding of TechSIGINT applications.

  • Test Plans & Execution: Participate in the development and execution of test plans for compliance verification of TechSIGINT applications, ensuring all systems adhere to the required standards.

  • Independent Contribution: Complete complex tasks with minimal supervision. Exercise independent judgment to select and apply appropriate methods, procedures, techniques, and practices to successfully meet compliance and operational goals.

  • Collaboration & Networking: Build and maintain collaborative networks with key internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the completion of tasks. Foster communication across departments and agencies to promote cohesive workflow and compliance.

  • Non-Routine & Complex Assignments: Tackle complex assignments and challenges, providing solutions in both routine and high-pressure situations. Offer guidance to new team members and ensure team objectives are consistently met.

  • Technical Communication: Explain technical, procedural, specialized, and legal compliance information clearly and concisely to non-experts, ensuring that all stakeholders have a full understanding of compliance requirements and their implications.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.



Qualifications

  • Educational Requirements:
    • Ten (10) years of relevant experience and an Associate's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physical Science, or a related technical field OR

    • Eight (8) years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline.

    • Six (6) years of relevant experience and a Master's degree OR

    • Twelve (12) years of relevant experience without a qualifying degree.

  • Relevant Experience: Experience in signals analysis (e.g., COMINT, ELINT, FISINT, PROFORMA) or the design and engineering of aerospace, communications, electronic, or industrial systems.

  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in signal analysis and related techniques. A deep understanding of signal compliance implications in TechSIGINT operations is critical.

  • Systems Knowledge: Experience with legacy TechSIGINT applications and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision to complete complex assignments.

  • Collaboration & Communication: Ability to work with stakeholders to build strong networks and communicate complex technical details to non-experts.

  • Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph required.

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
