Provider Data Management Specialist (remote) This is a remote position open to any qualified applicant in the United States. Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Provider Data Management Specialist with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in MS Excel and preferably experience in IVR and Healthcare Call Centers. This is a work-from-home position with day shifts and no travel required. The role involves managing and optimizing processes to improve efficiency and support our healthcare operations. Job Duties: Reviewing available Provider data for the pending info and accuracy Data entre the pending info into Client systems and update any incorrect details A strong understanding of Healthcare concepts Proficiency in computer skills including typing speed and accuracy Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality of medical information Knowledge of data entry and transcription Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize healthcare processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Utilize MS Excel to analyze data generate reports and support decision-making.
- Provide support to healthcare call center operations ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality service.
- Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements and implement solutions.
- Monitor and evaluate process performance making adjustments as necessary to meet targets.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of process documentation and training materials.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies.
- Handle escalated issues and provide resolution in a timely manner.
- Support the implementation of new technologies and systems to enhance process efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure process adherence and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide training and support to junior team members as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED- Required
- Possess strong technical skills in MS Excel including data analysis and reporting.
- Have experience in IVR and Healthcare Call Center operations is a plus.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Show ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Have a proactive approach to identifying and addressing process inefficiencies.
- Display a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until April 3, 2025. The hourly rate for this position is between $18.00 - 19.00 per hour, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
