Delivering Better Tools for Safer Workspaces. The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for service sales to hospitals, universities, and industrial customers that utilize radiation for personal occupational dosimetry. Develop, manage, and grow the distributor network in the territory. Also responsible for client retention and account management. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Conduct market research and identify potential customers to create an opportunity pipeline.
- Responsible for making regular planned sales calls to support the growth of profitable sales while serving as a liaison and communicator between the customer and the company.
- Create and deliver sales presentations, as well as product demonstrations, to individual customer targets.
- Establish rapport and maintain regular contact with existing customers & new customers - particularly key accounts.
- Attend trade shows, industry group meetings, and other proactive industry initiatives as assigned.
- Share out of region sales leads with other regional sales team members.
- Participate in planning meetings to ensure organizational alignment.
- Ability to calculate, implement, and execute a sales forecast.
- Partner with existing distributors (in the assigned territory) to support active promotion of key products and motivate sales to targeted quotas.
- Develop strategic business relationships with new high-potential distributors in the territory to grow our distributor network.
- Support strategic dosimetry sales initiatives to ensure successful immediate and long-term strategic business goals.
- Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: Required
- Prior sales experience (winners' mentality)
- Self-motivated and success driven
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Effectively interact with all levels of an organization
- Demonstrated ability at working independently and working from remote office settings.
- Familiarity with the health care industry
- Experience working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications
- Experience working as a team member
- Clear communication of forecasting activities
- A minimum of 40% up to 60% travel required
Preferred
- Knowledge of the personal dosimetry market
- Service program sales experience
- Hospital IT platforms sales experience
- Proficiency in PC software applications (MS Office, Sales Force, HubSpot, TEAMS, SharePoint)
- Knowledge of basic radiation worker protection standards
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT Physical Requirements
- Clearly communicate in verbal and written form.
- Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted.
- Ability to sit at a desk and work on computer for extended periods.
- Ability to be active for extended periods without getting winded.
- Ability to coordinate and sustain multiple travel schedules.
