Transportation Research Center, Inc. (East Liberty, OH) – Engineer 3

Job Duties: Develop, maintain, and execute methods for evaluation of vehicle systems and features. Lead development and use of analytical procedures, component and full scale vehicle testing. Conduct research efforts relating to a wide variety of motor vehicle/mobility safety issues. Perform design analyses of motor vehicle/mobility safety systems. Lead development and evaluation of complex technical proposals. Provide technical decision making and direction. Lead the preparation and development of critical papers and reports. Participate in professional societies and on technical committees. Create detailed cost estimates for tasks. Lead organization, establishment and maintenance of task schedules and budgets. Critically evaluate and correct deficiencies in technical proposals, plans, and reports. 

Position involves a hybrid work schedule both Work from Office (East Liberty, OH) and Work from Home.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or related field, plus 2 years of experience in transportation research as an automotive engineer or related occupation (experience may be gained before, during, or after master’s degree).
