Role Overview

Manage and maintain a smooth continuous product flow of chemicals through the work area to maximize output, product quality and minimize waste. Need to be a team player in achieving team, department and organization goals. Individual will coordinate the workflow in multiple locations handling various chemicals, some of which may be hazardous where maintaining safety is the first priority.

Required Skills:

* Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment,

* Customer focused,

* Good oral and written communication skills, and ability to function on a computer utilizing various databases, programs (Lotus Notes, SAP, MyHR, Excel Spreadsheets, Sharepoint and posess basic math skills)

* The ability to troubleshoot issues and determine root cause,

* Read job related material and train workforce on established procedures.

* The ability to comprehend and execute a variety of work requests.

*The ability to lead through change and possess a strong focus on safety, productivity, quality, cost and people.

*Need to be able to apply basic math concepts and utilize excel spreadsheets.

*Individual must be able to maintain a clean work area and operate in a safe manner.

*Constant walking, standing, frequent lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, occasional awkward positions, are able to lift 50 lbs are some of physical aspects of the job.

*Willing to work occasional overtime or adjust work schedule for shutdowns and business needs.

*The ability to function without close supervision, in a trustworthy manner getting along with others with a strong ability to lead change.

*Need to have demonstrated good analytical and trouble shooting skills.

*Ability to consistently communicate goals and directions of the department and leadership in a positive manner.

*Adheres, trains and hold team members accountable to SOP and documented procedures

Desired Skills:

* Work in a frequently changing environment.

* Ability to reprioritize workload frequently.

* Chemical handling experience.

* Ability to provide constructive feedback (management & workforce)

* GEMBA's (119 and 326 daily)

* Review any quality incidents

EDUATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

* HS Diploma required or equivalent
