Job Summary
B&A is looking for a Program Manager that will lead complex projects that require the successful management of agile teams consisting of data processing and information management professionals. These teams will have been involved in a variety of tasks, including analysis, design, integration, testing, documentation, conversion, extension, and implementation of SAP ERP solutions. The Program Manager will oversee day-to-day management of contract support operations, integrating master schedules (IMS) across multiple projects and personnel at various locations.
The Program Manager will also be responsible for organizing, directing, and coordinating the planning and execution of all contract support activities, ensuring that all deliverables meet client expectations and contract requirements. Strong written and oral communication skills will be critical to this role, as it involves frequent collaboration with stakeholders, senior management, and team members.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage agile teams that are focused on various aspects of SAP ERP analysis, design, integration, testing, documentation, conversion, extension, and implementation.
- Perform day-to-day management of overall contract support operations, including oversight of integrated master schedules (IMS) across multiple projects and locations.
- Organize, direct, and coordinate the planning, execution, and production of all contract support activities, ensuring on-time delivery and quality outcomes.
- Ensure projects meet cost, schedule, and scope objectives by monitoring performance and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Demonstrate clear and effective written and oral communication skills in regular reporting, stakeholder meetings, and cross-team coordination.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and action plans to senior leadership and clients.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that may impact project deliverables, schedules, or resources.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration and execution of the program.
- Foster a collaborative environment, ensuring that all team members work towards a common objective and maintain alignment with the program's goals.
- Support the creation and analysis of acquisition documentation, ensuring that all necessary program materials are well-documented and meet required standards.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Must possess at least one DOD 8570 certification: GSEC, Security+CE, SSCP, CCNA-security
- Must possess a qualified certification in a computing environment
- Must hold a Project or Program Management certification (i.e., Project Management Professional (PMP) certification).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, with demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, complex projects.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience leading teams and individuals with progressively higher responsibilities, specifically in the IT and/or consulting fields, in either the public or private sector.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP products (including ERP and related applications).
- Extensive experience working in Agile, Kanban, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies, with a proven ability to lead agile teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to analyze various source documentation and support the creation of acquisition documentation to meet program requirements.

- Strong background in managing and mentoring cross-functional teams, with a focus on IT, consulting, or technology services.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to proactively identify issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with senior leadership, stakeholders, and team members.
- Knowledge of contract management, budget oversight, and client relationship management.
- Familiarity with other project management tools, such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or Trello.
- Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects while adhering to deadlines and budget constraints.
