General Summary As a Network Engineer you will be tasked with developing and managing our network infrastructure to support business operations and objectives. This includes configuring network devices, ensuring network security, and optimizing performance to meet the client's requirements. Principal Duties and Responsibilities 1. Install all new routers, switches, and wireless APs for network infrastructure. 2. Manages the Network Access Control solution (802.1x authentication). 3. Manages day-to-day network infrastructure consisting of routers, switches, MPLS and SD-WAN networks, wireless, network access control, and network monitoring tools. 4. Perform troubleshooting analysis for network related issues. 5. Follow change control procedures for effective risk mitigation. 6. Requires a thorough knowledge of networking design and protocols. 7. Strong analytical abilities. 8. Provide support to the IT Helpdesk and internal clients as needed. Associated Duties Provides additional support to manager and department colleagues. Completes all assigned/required Bank training within established timelines. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) Required The following KSAs are usually acquired through college education with specialized emphasis in network systems and three to five years LANS/WANS experience. 1. Certifications: CCNA or CCNP 2. Networking: Switches, Routers, Servers, Cables, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, Latency, VoIP, QoS, OSPF, and BGP. Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology required. Relevant experience may substitute for the education requirement. *Skills* Cisco routers, Cisco switches, Troubleshooting, Network engineering, Firewall *Top Skills Details* Cisco routers,Cisco switches,Troubleshooting,Network engineering *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Limited travel in the Tallahassee area will be needed from time to time to support branch locations and troubleshoot network issues onsite. Cisco ISE is nice to have as well. *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $105000.00/yr. Life Insurance Capital City Bank automatically provides Basic Term Life insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment coverage at no cost to you beginning on the first of the month following 30 days of employment. A Living Care Benefit is also provided with Basic Life coverage. You may purchase Basic Life Insurance for your eligible dependents or additional coverage for yourself. Disability Commissioned and non-exempt associates are eligible for Short Term Disability (STD). If disability continues beyond the STD period, you could be eligible for Long Term Disability (LTD). Capital City Bank provides Long Term Disability coverage for all associates at no cost starting on the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
