Responsible for managing projects in conjunction with IS Shared Services and other team requests to include: Software and hardware deployments, vendor management and coordination between all of the other Infrastructure teams (Networking, Telecom and System Administration).

Schedules department resources and provides resource timelines for Capital Projects through IS Shared Services.

Works with the Business Relations Directors to establish lines of communications for project or task level requests when necessary.

I. Major Responsibilities:

1. Manages projects using MS Project, Excel, and Visio.
2. Uses LANDesk, Hyena, Meditech and Active Directory .
3. Quotes prices and coordinates the flow of purchase orders, invoices and order management as required.
4. Manages temporary staffing requirements for the IS department.
5. Creates departmental policies, procedures and objectives compliance.

II. Position Qualifications:

License/Certification/Education:
Required:
1. Bachelor of Science or equivalent.

Experience/Skills:
Required:
1. Two (2) years technical customer service experience.
2. Demonstrated technical experience with PC hardware and software support environments.
3. Ability to self-manage.
4. Basic understanding of infrastructure workflow within Networking, Telecom, Capital Facilities, System Administration, and Applications.
5. A combination of expertise in desktop operating systems and TCP/IP networking.

Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.

Need a strong technical background in configurations and installations of IS devices. Experience in Desktop support a plus as well as working on large scale installations as technical lead under a project manager.
