The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Main Function: Responsible for preparation, set-up, serving and picking up all special catering functions, meetings, luncheons and dinners.

Assists in main kitchen as time allows.

Provides general direction and guidance to other special function aides.

Qualifications

Required:

Prior culinary, food preparation, experience

Preferred:

Prior catering experience highly preferred

Knowledge of Sanitation and Safety Standards

Scheduling Requirements

5:30 am - 2:00 pm

Monday through Friday, every other weekend, and holidays

Position Overview:

Coffee services set up from 6:00 a.m.to 2:30 p.m. are set up correctly according to requisition needs and policy and procedures, deliver 15 minutes before the requested time.

Picks-up service set up within one hour of finished time and cleans according to policy and procedure.

Follows proper Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), food handling policies and procedures on a daily basis.

All cold food products are maintained at 41 degrees or below.

All proper food temperatures must be maintained.

Works with food and supplies according to established guidelines.

All food products must be properly dated, wrapped and labeled.
