Job Title: Business Controls and Testing RCSA Senior Analyst

What you'll do: The Business Controls & Testing (BCT) Risk and Controls Self-Assessment (RCSA) Senior Analyst will work within the Bank's first line of defense (1LOD) and be responsible for supporting execution of RCSAs and other business line risk and control activity or analysis. The BCT - RCSA Senior Analyst will be working closely with other BCT teams as well as 2LOD teams and subject matter experts.
- Support the timely preparation and execution of the Risk and Control updates / refresh through collection of data from various sources as defined in desktop procedures.
- Supports effective and timely execution of projects; displays a sense of urgency for deliverables.
- Review policies and procedures to document process maps and narratives.
- Support identification of risks and controls in processes under review including the drafting of risks and controls in line with standards.
- Support assessment of control environment and determining effective risk mitigation or identification of gaps.
- Support conversations with risk subject matter experts about the context and/or severity of risk factors and/or issues including areas such as third parties / vendors, issues, regulatory or legal matters, etc.
- Facilitate meetings to review process understanding and process map documentation.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in Compliance, Operations Management, Audit, Risk Management, or related fieldin financial services
- Knowledge of and experience in documenting process maps in process mapping software
- Experience identifying risks and controls in processes
- Active reading and listening comprehension to support process understanding and documentation
- Applies analytical skills to determine key areas of focus, summary of meetings and key decisions and actions
- Strong written and oral communication skills including the ability to define objectives, summarize discussion or action items, and perform follow-up
- Personable and establishes rapport with peers and stakeholders and maintains positive and productive relationships
- Team player within our department and with our business stakeholder and risk counterparts in other lines of defense
- Uses a consultative approach for discussing the risk processes as well as in identifying and confirming risks and controls
- Remains curious and openminded

Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $114,910.00 - $135,187.00 for Westlake Village, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned and restricted stock.
