Coke Florida is looking for a Data Operations and Compliance Manager to work out our Tampa HQ working Monday - Friday.

What You Will Do:

The Information Governance Manager is a key member of the Coke Florida Information Governance Organization responsible for oversight of Master Data Operations, Data Quality and Governance, and supporting Data Stewardship Processes and Governance with the business and functional teams.

Roles and Responsibilities:



  • Manage a team of Data Professionals working at various levels, responsible for the maintenance, quality, and governance of all data domains.
  • Support ongoing data quality initiatives to ensure incorrect data is quickly identified, corrected and if applicable long-term solutions are put in place to prevent ongoing data discrepancies.
  • Support Senior Leadership with the deployment of an enterprise-wide data governance framework, with a focus on improvement of data life cycle management (lineage), data quality and the protection of sensitive data through modifications to organization behavior policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools, and data architecture.
  • Support Senior Leadership in the definition of roles and responsibilities related to data governance and ensure clear accountability for stewardship of company's information assets.
  • Interact regularly with senior management on matters concerning several functional areas and or stakeholders.
  • Serve as a liaison between Business and Functional areas and technology to ensure that data related business requirements for protecting sensitive data are clearly defined, communicated, and considered part of the operational prioritization and planning.
  • Create and foster a high performance culture, focused on engagement, accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Transfer knowledge across functional lines, promoting teamwork, and empowerment to achieve established objectives.
  • Champion company initiatives, connecting efforts to company vision and purpose and driving increased engagement.
  • Develop and mentor team through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; build and maintains employee morale and motivation; ensure the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies; foster a diverse and inclusive workplace.



For this role, you will need:



  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, statistics, data management or equivalent work experience


  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with key stakeholders
  • People management and project leadership experience required


  • Strong analytical, decision-making, planning and people/project management skills
  • Successful track record of management and process improvement
  • Performs both business and data analysis to develop or improve Business Intelligence solutions
  • Excellent listening, communication (verbal and written), influencing, and presentation skills
  • Experience leading requirements and analysis sessions across multiple projects and topics is desired
  • Experience in Data Management disciplines is highly desired
  • Understanding of Coke Florida Master Data is highly desired
