Quality Specialist - 2nd Shift - 12.00am - 8.00am Location: Colorado Springs, CO Job ID: #70764 Pay Range: $35-44 The deadline to apply is 04/18/2025 Job Description: Supports corrective Action Boards with suppliers, lead escape management activities and validate root Cause and Corrective Actions. Perform detailed product inspections on in-process and finished goods, including but not limited to First Article Inspections. Qualified in performing Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) functions for Zeiss Contura machine. Qualified in programming, writing and editing CMM programs, either manually or using software, to ensure the machine can perform automated measurements. Document characteristics of products accurately and with technical detail. Initiate quality notifications for any non-conforming products. Apply quality assurance procedures and requirements to the inspection of hardware and to document reviews. Identify any potential quality issues early and help to prevent their occurrence. Communicate effectively to other Collins Aerospace personnel any quality issues needing resolution. Flexibility performing duties within the Quality department, such as piece, part, inspection and processing non-conforming materials.
