*Middleware Programmer V* What is the length of the assignment? 6 months possible extension- depending on the candidate or the project. Top 5 Skill sets - Proven experience as an App Connect Enterprise ACE Developer - Strong knowledge of IBM ACE/IIB development including ESQL Java and integration patterns. - Experience with web services SOAP/REST XML JSON and related technologies. - Familiarity with various data formats and transformation techniques. - Understanding of message-oriented middleware MQ and related technologies. Nice to have skills or certifications: - ODM- Operation Decision Center - TeamCity - Harness - AWS - Cloud knowledge Preferred Hours of work: 9 to 5 Work Locations: HSC - Houston based. Work Schedule: Remote Hybrid Onsite? This position is based in Houston. Currently the role requires in-office presence every Wednesday. Additionally in the third week of each month he must be in the office on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. Will this person have to travel? No Interview Process: Who is involved in the interview? Manager- and Principal Architects- and Senior Developer- Will it be via video or in person? First Virtual video if needed will be in person second interview. Need at least 8-10 years of experience. This developer will be working with other developers/STAR alliance customers. - This is for an ongoing project could extend into 2026. - Top skills: IBM Ace, SQL, AWS, Java - Any automation knowledge or background with CI/CD is helpful - they are moving from Teamcity to Github. - Need someone who is ACE proficient. - Airline experience is nice but not required - other domains are welcome. - Project is budgeted until 12/25/25 but high likelihood of extension. - Houston based role - high visibility and meetings local to Houston.
