Inventory Control Analyst

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and minimize costs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and production, to streamline operations.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to supply chain.
  • Conduct research to stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management.
  • Monitor inventory receipts, inventory movements, stock levels and replenishment indicators.
  • Participate in cycle count program including distributing daily lists and reporting on metrics and performance across the divisions.
  • Create production work orders, inventory transfers, and inventory adjustments in accordance with requests and MRP. Primarily for our Clickeze, Endurant, and Jointmaster divisions.
  • Investigate inventory issues, analyze root causes, and provide solutions.
  • Review and schedule work orders.
  • Review inventory planning parameters and work in conjunction with Buyers and the Production Planner to recommend reorder points and lot sizes to ensure efficient on hand inventory
  • Assist in managing inventory reductions
  • Provide support to the BOM Analyst
  • Provide support to the Production Planner
  • Maintain good working relationships with all department supervisors.
  • Maintain an understanding of manufacturing operations.


Qualifications and Skills:



  • 4-year bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3 years of operations or Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
  • Microsoft Excel experience required.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills to identify strengths and weaknesses of current processes make enhancements when necessary.
  • ERP experience preferred, NetSuite experience a plus.


Authority:



  • Authority to stop any operation for any unsafe condition in accordance with Inpro's Safety Standards.
