Operations Manager

Responsible for managing operations of assigned department. Required to frequently apply a set of management principles to a specialized discipline. Must be capable of independent judgement and decision making in the areas of budget, personnel, patient services and administrative or professional programs. Has twentyfour (24) hour accountability for assigned areas.

• Is responsible for the development, effective implementation and management of assigned operational projects/programs. Evaluates activities and makes operational changes as necessary to improve service levels.
• Develops systems, techniques and procedures appropriate for assigned departments.
• May develop and provide input into hospitalwide policies or departmental policies that impact across division lines. Actively participates on hospital committees which address operational issues.

REQUIRED

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business or other health-related field.
• Three (3) years of health care operational experience.

PREFERRED

• Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business or other health-related field.
