Overview

The Software Configuration Associate will be a member of the Configuration Team based on-site in Birmingham, AL whose objective is to successfully build and maintain customized forms, as well as manage database configurations and deployments to successfully enhance the operational functionality of NaphCare's uniquely tailored version of the TechCare Electronic Health Record (EHR) Solution.

The successful candidate will work alongside NaphCare's Software Configuration Specialists to manage database configurations and ensure their successful deployment to NaphCare hosted client's test and production TechCare environments. This position will report directly to the Software Configuration Manager in Birmingham, AL.

The preferred candidate will have a proven history of small-scale project management and collaboration in a team-based, deadline-driven environment. The preferred candidate will also be proficient in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), as well as Extensible Markup Language (XML).

Responsibilities

    Coordinate with internal client success and project teams to gather and clarify ticket specifications
  • Configure database type tables and workflows within SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
  • Build and maintain customized forms in TechCare EHR application via Extensible Markup Language (XML)
  • Document and script database statements for deployment to NaphCare hosted and non-hosted clients
  • Manage deployments of database scripts to NaphCare hosted clients
  • Communicate deployment timelines and project statuses to internal teams and clients
  • Document and formalize process improvements pertaining to configuration team responsibilities
  • Attend and participate in industry events such as TechCare User Groups (virtual and in-person)


Qualifications

  • Experience working in a team-based, fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • Demonstrated collaborative team player with strong work ethic and self-motivation
  • Proficiency in Extensible Markup Language (XML) and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
  • Proficiency in general information technology, software, and technical concepts
  • High level of comfort with learning, building and applying skills in both public forums and technical areas
  • High level of comfort with organizing and assembling incomplete specifications into successful outcomes
  • Adeptness at managing individual tasks and projects in a detail-oriented manner with minimal supervision
  • Adeptness at managing time efficiently and proactively communicating project statuses and roadblocks
  • Adeptness at communicating technical language and concepts to non-technical internal teams and clients
