The Family Caregiver Support Center provides a full range of clinical services, including assessment of family caregivers to older adults with multiple medical or cognitive impairments, case management, short-term treatment, referral, crisis intervention, and psycho-educational training. Our program is rapidly growing, and we need superstars to join our current dynamic team. We seek a Community Engagement Coordinator to join our team!

This is a full-time position that requires substantial commitment and flexibility. It will also require strong organizational skills and attention to detail. A valid state driver's license and reliable transportation are required. Travel may be required to on-campus meetings. The work schedule varies from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, with some weekend work as needed. This position will work a hybrid schedule.

Roles and responsibilities to include:

* Provides assistance and support in all aspects of USC's Family Caregiver Support Center outreach activities.

* Administers the center's marketing calendar, as assigned.

* Coordinates program services and activities, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with program goals.

* Schedules classes, meetings, and events while providing leadership and guidance to student workers and volunteers. Arranges vendor services and ensures follow-through on assigned responsibilities.

* Oversees the production and distribution of program materials, including meeting agendas, reports, informational content, and marketing materials.

* Conducts research and gathers information for program purposes, such as assessing program effectiveness, evaluating client needs, and assisting with budget preparation. Performs preliminary data analysis, submits recommendations, and prepares reports as assigned.

* Assists with budget preparation and administration by researching costs, tracking expenditures, and reporting variances.

* Provides client services by responding to inquiries and requests for information related to program functions.

* Coordinates program services with other campus offices and staff, serving as a resource for program information and representing the program on university committees as requested.

* Supports fundraising efforts by researching funding sources and assisting with proposal writing and production.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bilingual

* Working knowledge of marketing tools

* Experience with community outreach

* Experience working with diverse communities

* Experience in conducting presentations

* Excellent written and oral communication skills.

This is a non-exempt position with work expected to be standard hours of operations, with potential for weekend work during emergencies only. Some travel will be required. This position is funded by a research contract/grant and may be funded by a subsequent contract/grant. Accordingly, your position is contingent upon receipt of the necessary funding from this or any subsequent contract/grant to continue employment.

The hourly rate range for this position is $23.00-$25.00.
