Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Program Coordinator.

The Program Coordinator for Geriatrics is responsible for overseeing excellence in geriatric care across the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Emergency Medicine. This position supports system-wide integration of clinical, educational, and research initiatives to advance emergency care for older adults.

The Program Coordinator works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to develop, implement, and evaluate geriatrics care programs and protocols. Reporting to the Regional Director for Emergency Medicine, the Program Coordinator provides administrative, operational, and project management support to ensure program success.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Demonstrates knowledge of the organization's Core Values and incorporates them into the performance of duties.

2. Program Coordination
. Support departmental leadership in executing strategic priorities to achieve excellence in geriatric emergency care.
. Build infrastructure to implement and disseminate best practices in geriatric emergency care across sites.
. Assist in developing and distributing protocols, care models, and program materials for Geriatrics Emergency Department (GED) initiatives.
. Coordinate with stakeholders to organize and manage geriatrics program activities, schedules, and deliverables.
. In collaboration with departmental leadership create and implement EPIC workflows to support excellence in Geriatric care.
. In collaboration with departmental leadership assure that all Geriatric workflows and
documentation conform to applicable standards and regulations including those of NYSDOH, NYCDOH, Joint Commission and CMS.

3. Reporting and Data Management
. Independently prepare and review documents, presentations, and progress reports for ongoing and pending projects.
. Collaborate with data analysts to monitor program metrics and develop dashboards related to geriatric care.
. Analyze and synthesize data to generate findings and recommendations for leadership.
. Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and manage follow-up activities to ensure
continuity in program execution.
. Collect and analyze data for performance evaluations related to geriatrics care initiatives.
. Support quarterly progress reports, site-specific implementation updates, and compliance documentation.
. Assist with creating educational materials and presentations for training sessions, departmental seminars, and other activities.

4. Scheduling and Coordination
. Organize and coordinate geriatrics program meetings, including logistics, technical support, and catering arrangements.
. Manage scheduling and preparation activities for events, seminars, and special initiatives.
. Ensure effective communication among multiple stakeholders and facilitate smooth coordination of program activities.

5. General Duties
. Ensure compliance with departmental and institutional policies and procedures.
. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration, health care administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook. Familiar with Internet applications. Effective oral, written, communication, interpersonal skills. Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and must work and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers. Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently. Time management skills and ability to work well under pressure. Ability to Project/Program manage and to multi task while paying attention to details.

Preferred Qualifications:
Project/Program management experience preferred.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $64,350.00 - $98,218.33 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
