This role provides assistance and support to the various functions in the Legal Department (Legal, Procurement, Contract Management, Quality/Safety/Compliance, and Facilities) as well as the enterprise from a business operations perspective. A Business Specialist maintains broad knowledge about a company's business processes and procedures in order to address their needs, identify business constraints, and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction (both internally and externally) while achieving company objectives. Which tasks will you perform?
- Support and thought partner with the various parts of the team, including Legal, Procurement, Contract Management, Quality, Safety, Compliance, and Facilities.
- Generate routine or ad-hoc business reports for management.
- Manage group budgets, headcounts, targets, and goals.
- Analyze the functioning of processes and suggest effective solutions by researching, visualizing, articulating, solving problems, and implementing solutions.
- Collaborate and contribute to the organization to promote cross-functional and process thinking.
What do we expect from you? You will have (required):
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in a relevant field or a combination of education and experience.
- Results-driven achiever with exemplary planning and organizational skills, along with a high degree of detail orientation.
- Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
- Proficient in all MS Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
You may have (preferred):
- Experience excelling in a fast-paced environment where there is high volume of tasks and priorities shifting continuously.
- Proficient in SAP, Salesforce, LMS, and other business-related software.
- Ability to work and make informed decisions independently and on own initiative.
