Duties and Responsibilities
Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine is seeking a board certified ( ABPN) comprehensive neurologist specialist to provide general neurology (comprehensive neurology) services at Loyola University Medical Center, MacNeal and Gottlieb Memorial Hospitals. Responsibilities include clinical care, programmatic development, as well as training of residents and fellows.
Loyola Medicine, a member of Trinity Health, is a nationally ranked academic, quaternary care system based in Chicago's western suburbs. The three-hospital system includes Loyola University Medical Center, MacNeal Hospital and Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, as well as convenient satellite clinic locations offering primary care, specialty care and immediate care services from more than 1,500 physicians throughout Cook, Will and DuPage counties. Loyola University Medical Center is an advanced comprehensive stroke center and a Level IV Epilepsy Center.
MacNeal Hospital is a 374-licensed-bed teaching hospital in Berwyn with advanced medical, surgical and psychiatric services, acute rehabilitation, and inpatient skilled nursing facility, and 68-bed behavioral health program and community clinics. MacNeal Hospital is a primary care stroke center.
Gottlieb Memorial Hospital is a 247-bed community hospital in Melrose Park with the Judd A. Weinberg Emergency Department, The Loyola Center for Metabolic Surgery and Bariatric Care and the Loyola Cancer Care and Research Facility at the Marjorie G. Weinberg Cancer Center.
