Duties and Responsibilities	The Staff Scientist for the Knight Lab: Supports research projects by designing and performing lab assays and analysis. Assists PI, Research Staff, and Students with various lab procedures and projects. Performs analysis of laboratory data, including statistical analysis and data from flow cytometry. Analysis requires familiarity with basic methods in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics. Regularly generates reports on data obtained from experiments. Organizes, curates, and updates data bases of the acquired information and the corresponding analyses. Maintains orderly records. Maintains a safe and orderly working environment. Ensures compliance with safety regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and/or Work Experience	PhD is required.
