Duties and Responsibilities
Salary Range: $96,000 - $237,000

The successful candidate is expected to maintain an independent, externally funded research program in the area of tissue injury, immune and inflammation in response to burn/trauma/sepsis and contribute to graduate and medical education. The faculty candidates are expected to maintain an independent, externally-funded research program. The candidates should also have demonstrated collaborative experience with both basic scientists and clinicians.
Qualifications
Candidates must have a Ph.D., M.D., M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent and postdoctoral experience with a strong publication record. Established investigators should have a strong history of research productivity and extramural support. Clinically active investigators with 50% commitment to research are encouraged to apply. This is a 12-month faculty appointment, and the rank/tenure will be commensurate with qualifications.

Additional Salary Information
This salary range is for a 12-month academic appointment. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree; training; field or discipline; budget availability; internal equity; and external market pay for comparable jobs. Salaries higher than the published maximums may be offered in limited circumstances.
