Summary: In this role, you will enhance our data analytics infrastructure. You will ensure seamless data accessibility, visualization, and cross-functional collaboration, and support Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) initiatives. You will leverage your expertise in data engineering, analytics, and collaboration to bridge the gap between analysts and technical teams. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of AI & ML models, ensuring efficient data flow and model performance.
- Provide analysts with necessary data by optimizing data pipelines and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes.
- Design, develop, and maintain metrics, reports, and interactive dashboards for improved data visualization and business insights.
- Support Master Data Management (MDM) and clinically centric teams, ensuring seamless data integration and knowledge sharing.
- Provide technical expertise to the Product Item Master (PIM) team and other teams as needed, scaling support across the organization.
- Support the delivery of customized analyses, leveraging internal and external data sources, structured and unstructured datasets.
- Incorporate knowledge of best practices into data sourcing and analysis.
- Establish strong working relationships and actively communicate with key internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations effectively.
- Act as a resource and mentor for colleagues with less experience, providing guidance and training.
- Identify issues, create solutions, and present recommendations to management and external stakeholders.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline operations and improve data quality.
- Ensure the integrity of the Product Item Master, performing data audits and making necessary updates to maintain accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree preferred. Degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred.
- 2 or more years of relevant data analysis experience required.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other data transformation languages required.
- Experience with data warehouses, ETL tools, and cloud platforms including Snowflake, Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud required.
- Familiarity or experience with AI/ML pipelines and analytics engineering best practices preferred.
- Health care or supply chain experience is preferred.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and Access preferred.
- Experience with SQL and Oracle queries and VBA preferred.
- Experience developing dashboards and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker preferred.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, database management, and performance optimization preferred.
- Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct advanced analyses and identify solutions to complex problems preferred.
Estimated Hiring Range: At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $68,500.00 to $116,300.00.
