The Department of Communication in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, University of Colorado Denver, invites candidates to submit their CVs for consideration in case an opening a lecturer position becomes available. Lecturer - What you will do:



  • You will teach a maximum of 2 Communication courses per semester.


Qualifications you already possess (Minimum Qualifications)

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.



  • Candidates must hold an MA or above in Communication or allied field. If the MA is in an allied field, they must have 18 Communication credits plus 2 years of teaching experience.

  • Additional education, certifications
  • Additional experience that would be preferred qualifications specific to this position

Compensation and Benefits

The hiring rate (or budgeted rate) for this position has been established at $4,845 (lower division courses), $4,935 (upper division courses), or $5,424 (graduate level courses) for the semester. All Communication courses are 3-credit hours.

The above salary range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.
