About the Company: Large, publicly traded, software industry Location: San Diego, CA - Hybrid, 3-4 days onsite Title: Group Manager, Asset and Real Estate Accounting Salary: $160,000-200,000 (DOE) + Bonus + Equity Job Description: This leadership role oversees asset and real estate accounting operations, ensuring compliance with policies and driving strategic goals. The position requires working closely with functional and business partners to implement innovative solutions and maintain accuracy in asset accounting. Responsibilities: Lead asset and real estate accounting operations, including ASC-842, capital projects, fixed assets, and other assets. Perform variance analysis and ensure proper classification for external financial reporting. Design and implement forward-looking operational strategies to enhance efficiency. Drive automation initiatives for asset accounting while managing change and adoption. Ensure compliance with policies and US GAAP, with continuous monitoring and training. Develop and retain a high-performing team, fostering trust and accountability. Partner cross-functionally to facilitate timely decision-making and process improvements. Stay informed on evolving accounting standards and maintain industry best practices.
