Job Description As the Senior Director of Manufacturing Network Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Vertex's manufacturing network to meet the needs of our organization and support the delivery of life-changing therapies to patients worldwide. You will leverage a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical manufacturing environment and your analytical skills to spearhead the development of robust business cases that inform critical strategic and operational decisions related to how Vertex manufactures its therapies. You will be responsible for working with cross functional stakeholders in commercial manufacturing and supply chain, quality, finance, regulatory and development/clinical manufacturing groups to develop and maintain short-term and long-term network strategy goals in service of Vertex's goals to have robust supply chains, efficient but flexible production, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role is central to advancing Vertex's pipeline and ensuring the financial and operational efficiency of our manufacturing network. This is a Boston based position requiring 3 days/week onsite.
