Job Purpose / Objective
* Senior Accountant specializing in Acquisitions. Ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial analysis. This individual will have a key role in integration of acquisitions and the overall financial reporting of acquired businesses. The Senior Accountant will work directly with cross-functional teams, including finance, treasury, and operations.
Essential Functions and Primary Duties
* Assist and support Acquisition accounting activities, including financial due diligence, integration, and reporting of acquisition related financial data
* Assist with the preparation of financial budgets, forecast, and analysis of acquired business financial results
* Analyze and reconcile balance sheet and P&L accounts
* Assist in the preparation of post-acquisition integration plans, including streamlining financial processes and aligning reporting systems
* Assist in the preparation of monthly management reporting packages
* Research and assemble data
* Additional responsibilities as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
* CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred
Minimum Qualifications Required
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* 3 Years of experience as a subject matter expert
* Must maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to field of expertise
* Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
* Effective customer service skills
* Proficient use of applicable technology
* Ability to work in team environment as well as independently
* Ability to analyze and prioritize multiple responsibilities
