Field Consultant II

We are looking for a highly skilled Nutanix Field Engineer to deliver onsite deployment of Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) solutions. This role requires expertise in virtualization, storage, networking, and cloud technologies. As a Nutanix Field Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of Nutanix environments while working directly with clients to ensure seamless deployment and operation.

Deployment & Implementation - Plan, install, configure, and deploy Nutanix solutions, including AHV, Prism, AOS, and other Nutanix components.
Troubleshooting & Optimization - Perform advanced troubleshooting, manage upgrades/patches, and optimize Nutanix clusters.
Cloud & Workload Migrations - Implement hybrid cloud solutions (Nutanix Xi, AWS, Azure), conduct P2V and V2V migrations, and manage cloud connectivity.
Networking & Security - Utilize network virtualization (NSX, ACI), configure VLANs, and ensure network security best practices.
Automation & Scripting - Leverage PowerShell, Python, and Nutanix Calm Blueprints for infrastructure automation.

• 3-5+ years of experience in data center engineering, IT infrastructure, or professional services.

• Hands-on experience deploying Nutanix clusters and HCI solutions.

• Strong understanding of Nutanix AOS, AHV, Prism, Flow, Files, Volumes, and Objects.

• Experience working with VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter) and/or Microsoft Hyper-V. Deep knowledge of SAN, NAS, object storage, network protocols, and data center infrastructure.

• Experience supporting enterprise customers and managing professional services engagements.

• Willingness to travel extensively to customer sites as required.

Nutanix Certified Services (NCS) - Core, Cloud, Security, Database
VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
Cisco CCNA (Networking Skills)
