Director Business Transformation - ISC and Quality

Primary Responsibilities for the Director Business Transformation:

  • Develop a strategic plan and deploy end to end Business transformation - leveraging process, data and technology to drive outcome.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of digital solutions and controls to improve supply chain processes, including implementing controls at system level to ensure defects are detected at early stages in the value stream and proactive measures are installed to trigger the out-of-control process or product.
  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of business transformation initiatives focused on ISC and Quality, ensuring alignment with the organization's business goals and objectives.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning to enable personal and professional growth within the team.
  • Partner with Digital/IT teams to Implement digital technologies to enhance quality management systems covering various standards and processes, ensuring consistent product and service quality.
  • Leverage automation, data analytics, and AI to improve compliance, risk management, and defect detection. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the quality management systems to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Promote a culture of innovation to ensure the company stays ahead of industry trends in digital quality management.
  • Oversee the implementation, integration, and upgrade of digital QMS platforms and tools. Ensure seamless integration with other enterprise systems such as ERP, supply chain management, and regulatory compliance systems.
  • Ensure that all digital quality management systems adhere to regulatory standards, industry certifications (such as ISO 9001, 9100,13485, FDA, or GMP), and corporate compliance requirements. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices other relevant industry guidelines.
  • Identify and assess risks in quality processes and develop strategies to mitigate these risks using digital tools. Use predictive analytics to anticipate quality issues before they arise, minimizing defects, rework, and recalls.
  • Monitor the performance of digital quality initiatives and continuously refine strategies to meet business goals and improve quality outcomes.
  • Lead efforts to train internal teams on new digital quality management tools and processes. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality throughout the organization by ensuring all employees are aware of their role in maintaining quality standards.
  • Drive cultural and operational changes within the organization to support digital transformation, ensuring smooth adoption of new tools and processes. Develop and implement effective change management strategies to minimize resistance and maximize engagement.
  • Utilize advanced data analytics to collect, analyze and to drive continuous improvement on various business metrics across the organization.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with senior leaders across business, IT, Operations, Finance, and other departments to ensure successful execution of digital transformation strategies. Engage with external technology partners to stay ahead of emerging trends and innovations.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business systems Monitor progress, resolve challenges, and ensure initiatives deliver measurable business value.
  • Establish a data-driven culture by developing analytics and reporting capabilities to provide insights into supply chain performance, quality metrics, and business outcomes.
  • Develop real-time dashboards and reporting tools to support data-driven decision-making and track the effectiveness of quality management initiatives.
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Required for the Director Business Transformation:

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in digital transformation, supply chain management, or quality management roles, with at least 5-7 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives, particularly within supply chain and quality domains.

Preferred for the Director Business Transformation:

  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior executives.
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree.
  • Strong understanding of digital technologies, including AI, automation, IoT, blockchain, and cloud solutions, and how they can be leveraged in ISC and Quality.
  • Proven experience in implementing and managing digital quality management systems (QMS), automation, and data analytics tools.
  • Expertise in digital supply chain solutions, ERP systems, and quality management frameworks.
  • Ability to assess, mitigate, and manage risks related to product quality and compliance.
  • Proven experience in implementing and managing digital quality management systems (QMS), automation, and data analytics tools.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards, such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, FDA regulations, and other relevant industry guidelines.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in managing complex digital transformation programs.
  • Advanced data analytics skills and familiarity with business intelligence tools.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Six Sigma (Black Belt), Lean, or other quality-related certifications a must
  • PMP, Agile, or other project management certifications are advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
