Responsibilities Performs all work with accord to the mission, vision, and values of the Oklahoma Heart Hospital. Under general supervision performs skilled work relating to the maintenance of all Oklahoma Heart Hospital buildings, properties systems and plant equipment as assigned. Performs proactive maintenance, safety and operational testing and documentation of all designated systems and equipment as assigned. Essential Functions: Perform daily visual inspections of assigned equipment. Perform repairs to all responsible equipment and systems as instructed. Keep appropriate inventory of parts and supplies to expedite equipment and system repairs. Ensure all responsible areas are organized, clean and free of abnormal hazards. Communicates with customers in a timely manner regarding the status of all maintenance and repairs performed. Performs "call" or "callback" duty on a rotational basis, responding immediately to all requests with a successful resolution of the problem. Performs preventive maintenance procedures on equipment/systems as assigned. Verifies that equipment/systems have completed data sheet with service/operator manuals and is properly filed. Repairs and maintains all property/equipment/systems to the stated facility, performance, regulatory and budgetary standard. Monitors success of procedure and recommends revisions based on experience. Records all work/activity performed on a work order. Qualifications Experience: Minimum three (3) to five (5) years related trade/discipline experience. Hospital maintenance experience preferred. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree or equivalent from college or technical school preferred. Licensure/Certification: City of Oklahoma City Boiler Operator license required (Class 1). Mechanical Journeyman license with the State of Oklahoma required. Apprentice licensure with the following two (2) registries required: Plumbing/Electrical with the State of Oklahoma.
