ABOUT THE JOB

The Quality Document Specialist will be responsible for handling customer requests, including online customer portals. Responds to customer email inquiries and request technical information from suppliers. This position requires interpretation of technical documents, attention to detail and will work independently populating data fields.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Organize supplier and customer documents in internal systems and customer portals.
  • Manage requests from Quality mailbox. Ensure requests are processed in a timely manner.
  • Load customer request into customer systems such as TraceGains and other related customer systems.
  • Develop and organize corporate statements.
  • Support quality systems by managing Kosher and Halal Certifications including requesting updates from suppliers and appropriately storing certificates
  • Perform other miscellaneous related duties, as needed.


              ABOUT YOU:



              • Education: Bachelor's degree in chemistry or biology or equivalent preferred
              • Experience: 3+ years in document control management and/or Quality Management Systems
              • Personal computer experience: Highly skilled with Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Document Management Systems
              • ERP experience preferred
              • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
              • Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
              • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
              • Must demonstrate high customer service skills for both internal and external customers.

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

                Expected Compensation: $25.00-$32.00/hr. + 5% Bonus Eligibility
