The Role

Responsible for managing the USTA Connect program and drive innovation within the USTA's Community Tennis initiatives. This role will oversee data-sharing partnerships, increase the USTA's integration within the tennis ecosystem, and leverage emerging technologies to promote tennis growth.

    USTA Connect:

    • Refine and execute a product vision for USTA Connect aligned with industry growth, player acquisition, and retention goals.
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to establish and manage USTA Connect partnerships.
    • Oversee the integration of USTA Connect partners, ensuring user-friendly interfaces and valuable partner benefits.
    • Identify partner needs, refine value propositions, and pursue growth opportunities.
    • Develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies.

    Innovation & USTA Ventures:

    • Define and implement an innovation strategy to leverage technology for tennis growth.
    • Identify and evaluate emerging trends, technologies, and market opportunities.
    • Build relationships with external partners, including startups and industry experts.
    • Source investment opportunities for the USTA Ventures Committee.
    • Collaborate across departments to integrate innovation efforts.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management and innovation.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing innovation initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Strong understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent computer skills.
  • Tennis background is a plus.
  • This position is designated as "hybrid/flex" and will require on-site work while allowing for some remote work. Any such position must meet the current USTA hybrid/flex requirements as updated from time to time. Please consult HR for the most current policy.

The expected range for the base salary for this position is between $100,000 - 120,000 plus a potential ICP bonus.

This range does not include any additional pay or benefits for which a person may qualify. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job.
