ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Overall
    • Asset management in partnership with creative team for assigned brands
    • Execute best in class product content and marketing programs for your assigned brands to increase demand, awareness, visibility, and sales.
    • Coordinates photo and video shoots for new product launches or optimization needs with in partnership with creative team.
    • Works cross functionally with sales, customer service, and product management to identify priorities (top demand products, products with issues, etc.) and own the process around new item launches and optimization for assigned brands.
      • Manages launch timelines, creative expectations, customer specific timelines
      • Brief all creative needs to creative team through wrike
  • PDP
    • Quality gatekeeper for assigned brand tool pages, reviews, and approves all copy and creative.
    • Responsible for PDP retail readiness, creative, accuracy and quality
    • Identify USPs for all products based on PM input, review mining, category data and consumer insights.
    • Expert at assigned brands consumer and category insights to understand what will get a consumer to convert on site and execute content with conversion in mind.
    • Works with customer content team to understand each top customer content needs and ensure those assets are created and our tool pages are fully optimized.
    • Work with customer service team to understand top customer FAQ and have those answered through the content.
    • Work with sales team and customer content team to understand and execute priority skus for assigned brands.
    • Work with product management to ensure all assets are received from vendors/factories to meet launch timelines.
  • Brand (if responsible for Almo house brand)
    • Sets brand positioning, messaging, tone of voice and creative direction for assigned brand
      • Brand world documentation maintenance
      • Work with designer on creative guideline updates/maintenance
      • Marketing/sales collateral/new item presentation creation and Brand folder maintenance
    • Review mining
    • Target customer segmentation
    • Market research and competitive tracking
    • Brand synergy: Assuring all owned assets across accounts are on brand (brand stores, ads, imagery, logos, etc.)
    • Work with designer and outside agencies (if applicable) for asset creation
  • Marketing
    • Creates strategy and executes brand marketing plans, tracking to KPIs
      • Reviews and approves and in some cases creates email marketing
      • Creating and maintaining marketing calendar
      • Lead generation, community growth for house brands
      • Social media, influencer & affiliate marketing for house brands
    • Works with digital marketing team to understand ad skus and ad creative requirements. Manages advertising creative process (imagery, video, and copywriting).
    • Amazon brand store ownership/merchandising/updates
    • Amazon post creation
    • Amazon attribution
    • If house brand has website, website maintenance:
      • Work with customer content to ensure website is merchandised accurately.
      • Update website banner and images seasonally
  • Vendor Relationships and Management (when applicable)
    • Main marketing point of contact at Almo for assigned vendor brands
    • Creating best in class content check list for best-in-class content for each top customer and working to develop relationships at each vendor to acquire those assets.
    • Regular, engaged calls with vendors
    • Works with digital marketing team to understand ad skus and ad creative requirements. Manages advertising creative process (imagery, video, and copywriting).
    • Manages marketing funding pitches, budget and marketing plan and regular reporting
    • Coordinates vendor product training with the sales team
    • All above sections (overall, pdp and marketing when applicable for vendor brands, scope is a case-by-case basis)


Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • 2+ years of digital marketing work experience in a fast-paced organization preferred.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task while meeting deadlines.
  • Flexible and able to shift gears quickly, thrives on change and a fast-paced, energetic environment.
  • Able to work independently and be self-motivated with a strong work ethic and sense of ownership.
  • Outstanding communication skills, integrity, and the ability to build professional trust and respect across all levels of the organization.
  • Critical thinking skills, ability to use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
  • Ability to generate creative ideas to support the strategic and tactical planning of business initiatives and events.
  • Strong time management skills for self and others.
