Easterseals Wyoming provides support to adults with developmental/intellectual disabilities (IDD) and other significant barriers. Responsible for ensuring program integrity and effectively and efficiently managing the business and program operations of Easterseals Wyoming through engaged support of the ESW Management Team. The individual is responsible for ensuring fiscal and compliance accountability through understanding the entire ESW operations and programming. Provides oversight for staffing and scheduling and ensuring appropriate onboarding and training for new and existing staff is completed and documented. Ensure compliance requirements of the program are met and staff are trained.

The Director will demonstrate strong leadership skills, hold extensive knowledge of services, and create a culture of customer service. Identify, develop, and execute on program expansion and design opportunities and serve as a professional representative of the organization externally within the communities in which ESW works to advance the mission of the organization. Works with minimal supervision to ensure systems are in place so operations run smoothly and align with ESGW and funding source requirements. Works closely with Supervisor, ESGW support departments, and other key leadership staff as needed

All ESGW team members are expected to exemplify and model ethical practice, high standards, and creative vision.

Direct Reports: Business Operations Manager, Project Manager, Transportation, Facilities and Safety Manager, Housing Coordinators, Professional Development, and Incident Manager.

Requirements



  • Exceptional computer and other technology skills required to be demonstrated prior to employment.
  • Proven organizational skills and project management experience.
  • Ability to plan and develop training material.
  • Must be well-groomed and pleasant with the public.
  • Must be able to work in a variety of environments including outdoors.
  • Must have valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.


Physical Requirements



  • Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community.
  • Applicant must be physically and mentally able to perform all requirements of the job.
  • Applicant must pass Office of Inspector General (OIG) Check.
  • All positions require the completion of a background check. Acknowledging or having criminal convictions does not constitute an automatic bar to employment.


Experience



  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years
  • In human service field - experience may substitute for degree.
  • Experience working with people with disabilities required or in vocational or employment services.
