JOB DESCRIPTION
FOX Ad Sales is looking for a born storyteller to be a Director of Portfolio Ad Sales Marketing, working cross functionally across the FOX Portfolio of Brands to build complementary marketing strategies and external market-facing narratives through the use of research, insights, and thought-leadership, assist with trade communications across the FOX Advertising digital platforms, and support Ad Product Solutions by crafting compelling value propositions for our ad products, along with education, training, and industry insights.
Reporting to the VP of Portfolio Ad Sales Marketing, the Director of Portfolio Ad Sales Marketing role will focus on development of marketing strategy and communication plans for FOX Portfolio Ad Sales and Ad Product Solutions efforts.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work collaboratively across the FOX Portfolio to support strategic projects to drive Ad Sales growth including
Synthesize brand advertiser client direction, sales strategy, cultural/market trends, and consumer insights into sales opportunities and messaging
Cultivate relationships, gaining trust and respect, and facilitate efficient, transparent communication with internal cross-functional partners
Partner with Ad Sales research to identify storytelling opportunities as part of overarching communications plan and develop high level cross platform sales materials
Create insightful proactive cross portfolio sales opportunities leveraging data & insights, and collaborating with Brand Partnerships teams on original creative ideas
Work with Sales leadership to develop and manage the Ad Sales Marketing efforts for FOX Portfolio products
Develop program calendar that delivers FOX Advertising messaging in the marketplace across industry events and O&O properties
Plan, coordinate, write/edit verbal and visual content for FOX Advertising platforms, and innovations, ensuring cohesiveness and quality across all platforms
Support Ad Product Solutions team to craft compelling narratives/positioning/value propositions with unique points of differentiation around FOX's data driven solutions and capabilities. Including new and existing product offerings.
Collaborate with product management, strategic partnerships and sales to create and strategize differentiated value propositions based on product level market dynamics and trends
Create case studies that showcase the strength of our offerings, working in collaboration with research and analytics to ensure the right information is measured
Support education, training and socialization efforts internally for product driven GTM stories and positioning
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
A minimum of 8 years of experience in either strategy, media, research, consulting, sales or a combination of the above
Exceptional, results-driven, and focused individual, with the ability to employ quantitative analysis to develop a coherent high-level narrative
Excellent writing skills including presentation development and digital/social storytelling
Strong organizational skills - ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Self-starter who can perform independently and proactively while working in a collaborative team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for story telling through data and insights
Curiosity and desire to dive into complex concepts
Data fueled storyteller
Outstanding reading comprehension skills
Ability to define value propositions and champion the voice of sales
Deep understanding of today's media marketplace and landscape
Ideal candidates ideally will have a background of Media Planning/Buying agency and/or experience working in a TV and/or Digital Sales organization in developing holistic solutions that generate revenue and ROI for brands.
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
High levels of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Familiarity with website technology and capabilities (Word Press, Google Analytics (GA4), Salesforce)

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $106,000.00-148,500.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
