OKC 73120 Hours: M-F Days, No weekends/holidays Responsibilities We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Telemetry Technician or Medical Assistant to join our team. In this remote role, you will be responsible for performing remote interrogations of pacemakers, defibrillators, implantable loop recorders (ILRs), wearable defibrillators, and cardiac contractility modulation (CCM) devices. Utilizing device company websites and specialized clinic software, you will ensure accurate monitoring and timely data management for patients with cardiac implantable devices. Key Responsibilities: Perform remote interrogations of pacemakers, defibrillators, ILRs, wearable defibrillators, and CCM devices via telemetry technology and specialized software. Schedule and manage appointments for device interrogations and follow up with patients on missed or incomplete transmissions. Import and input device data into clinical systems, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date. Prepare and generate detailed reports for physicians and the billing department, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and billing standards. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of patient care and telemetry monitoring. Troubleshoot and resolve any telemetry system issues that may arise during remote monitoring sessions. Qualifications: Prior experience with telemetry technology or cardiac device monitoring preferred. Familiarity with remote interrogation of pacemakers, defibrillators, ILRs, and CCM devices. Strong data management skills, with the ability to input, organize, and interpret clinical data. Ability to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare providers in a remote environment. Experience with clinical software systems and patient data management tools. Skills and Competencies: Expertise in remote telemetry and cardiac device monitoring. Strong communication skills to coordinate with patients and medical teams. Excellent attention to detail for data accuracy and report generation. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote work environment. Qualifications Education: High School graduate or equivalent required. Previous medical assistant experience or graduate of an accredited medical assistant program or telemetry monitor tech preferred. Licensure/Certification: BLS certification required within six (6) months of hire and Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician ('CRAT") within eight (8) months of hire. Experience: One (1) plus year of clinical experience preferred in the role of Medical Assistant, LPN, certified EKG Technician or CRAT certified position.
