Job Overview

Responsible for planning, managing and directing all manufacturing, testing, process improvement, environmental health and safety, and DEI management functions for the production team. Responsible for meeting plant, division, and corporate manufacturing goals and objectives consistent with established policies and procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations, satisfy customer requirements and maintain profitability. Working with senior and plant management ensures that manufacturing equipment and tools function properly and increase the organization's efficiencies. Duties include meeting production schedules, ensuring production processes stay within budgets and deadlines, and reviewing the productivity of an organization's manufacturing equipment. Responsible for the successful management and implementation of business improvement projects/initiatives across the business by developing an enthusiastic, motivated and flexible team approach that builds working relationships while ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to.

Responsibilities


  • Plan, organize, staff, and direct all activities of the facility to achieve plant goals for safety, quality, growth, profitability, productivity, customer satisfaction and employee engagement. Lead production and plant operations to ensure the effective utilization of resources.

  • Direct and coordinate all plant functions including Manufacturing, Materials, Production Control, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Planning, Human Resources, Accounting, Manufacturing Engineering and Environmental, Health and Safety to assure common direction toward plant goals.

  • Guide and support the plant EH&S program in improvements, investigations and corrective actions to meet and exceed Federal laws and IR standards and policies.

  • Guide and support the plant quality system in procedures and controls to improve overall customer satisfaction, DPPM, first pass yield and warranty results.

  • Be proactive and responsible to all facets of customer satisfaction including delivery, schedule changes and special instructions.

  • Guide and support plant maintenance, facilities and manufacturing engineering improvements, process improvements, facility improvements and capital expenditures.

  • Direct the submittal of the plant's Annual Operating Plan and business's financial forecasts and response plans.

  • Maintain a positive rapport with all levels of the organization in order to foster and promote diverse and inclusive work environment, high levels of morale, and high employee engagement.

  • Collaborate with all levels of the organization to ensure alignment of goals and progress towards them along with short term and long term needs and plans.

  • Lead and support the development of plant employees and plant succession planning activities.




Requirements


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or other related field.

  • Must have ten years of experience in plant leadership roles in Industrial Manufacturing.

  • Superior analytical and problem solving skills

  • Excellent communication, project management and organizational skills.? Must be capable to work in a fast paced, creative, results-oriented atmosphere.

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes

  • Proficiency in procurement of capital machinery

  • Fluent understanding of advanced machine tool operational competencies

  • Ability to supervise and develop others

  • Strong Leadership and Managerial skills



Preferences


  • Previous experience in SAP or other ERP type systems is preferred



Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

This position will be based at our office in Tulsa, OK, with minimal anticipated travel.
