As a Part Time Cashier in our Golf Proshop at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, you'll be responsible for assisting in all golf shop operations during the golf season.

What will you be doing?

• Check in golfers and ring in group outings.
• Sell merchandise and gift certificates for the Event Hole, recording cash transactions accurately.
• Monitor and fill out necessary paperwork, including membership documentation.
• Answer phone inquiries and take tee time reservations.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies in the locker room, issuing lockers and rental shoes to guests.
• Assist with spike changes, shoe shining, and other daily golf operations as directed by the Professional Staff.
• Handle cash transactions, make change, and balance an assigned house bank, performing simple arithmetic functions as needed.
• Monitor golf course and weather conditions using GPS and DTN Weather computer systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What do you bring to the role?

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Past experience in hotels, customer service, or cashiering experience is a plus.
• Has reliable transportation to and from work.
• Enjoys proactively using their creativity to personalize the guest experience.
• Strong customer service, communication, recordkeeping and math skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
