About the Opportunity:

The Assistant Corporate Controller plays a key role in leading the company's accounting functions,
ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and the efficient management of
financial resources. This position requires a deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, business unit
reporting, and strong collaboration with the Controller and senior leadership to support strategic
financial initiatives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Ensure the preparation and accuracy of financial statements and compliance with U.S. GAAP
and other applicable standards.
* Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard the integrity of financial data and
mitigate risks.
* Supervise daily accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts
receivable, and fixed assets.
* Collaborate with the Controller and senior leadership to evaluate and execute key financial
initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and investment opportunities.
* Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to meet reporting deadlines
and maintain accuracy.
* Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and workflows, ensuring continuous
operational improvement.
* Deliver detailed analysis and reporting to support business decisions and organizational
performance.

Financial Reporting & Compliance
o Assist the Corporate Controller in preparing financial statements and reports, including
consolidated audits, as well as statutory and contractually required audits and
compilations for business units.
o Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and other applicable financial reporting standards.
* Internal Controls & Risk Management
o Monitor and enhance financial controls and processes to maintain accuracy and
operational efficiency.
o Develop and maintain risk management policies and supporting documentation.
* Accounting Operations
o Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable,
accounts receivable, and fixed assets management.
o Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, safeguarding the integrity
of financial records.
o Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
* Strategic Financial Support
o Collaborate with the Controller and executive team to evaluate and execute strategic
financial initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions, lender reporting, and investment
analysis.
o Deliver financial insights and analysis to inform key business decisions and enhance
organizational performance.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification
required.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a strong technical foundation
in U.S. GAAP.
Proven track record of professional integrity, honesty, and personal credibility.
Strategic thinker with the ability to balance short-term objectives with long-term goals.
High-energy, creative, and resourceful self-starter with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
Collaborative team player who values communication and transparency with key stakeholders.
Strong commercial awareness and the ability to simplify
