Position Summary:

  • Assist to develop effective Marketing strategies through communication and promotional plans, trade support and brand building activities through entire consumer journey.
  • Cascade global brand strategy to key stakeholders: cross-functional team, Distributor teams, Agencies.
  • Plan, execute and track marketing plan activities for key brands to deliver business objectives.
  • Analysis and evaluation in market, brand, and consumer trends (Analysis of Nielsen, ISCAM, Sell-In, Sell-out)

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Brand Communications and Campaign Management:
    • Assist in the planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing campaigns across various touchpoints (digital, media, instore) to deliver business objectives.
    • Work with distributors to ensure that regional marketing campaigns align with brand guidelines and resonate with local consumers.
    • Partner with distributor teams to ensure consistent brand execution and successful implementation of brand strategies.
    • Monitor performance and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  2. Market Research & Analysis:
    • Conduct market research to understand customer preferences, market trends, and competitive landscape in both direct and distributor markets.
    • Track competition activities to provide insights and recommendations for brand plans.
    • Gather feedback from distributors and regional teams to adapt brand strategies to local market needs.
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Build strong relationships with cross-functional team distributor teams to drive brand growth and maintain high standards of brand representation.
  4. Budget Management:
    • Assist in the development and management of brand budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively for maximum impact in both direct and distributor markets.
    • Track expenses and analyze cost efficiency to stay within budget.
  5. Reporting & Presentation:
    • Provide regular reports on brand performance, campaign results, and key metrics to senior management, incorporating data from both direct and distributor markets.
    • Present findings and recommendations based on data analysis and market insights, highlighting opportunities and challenges in distributor regions.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 3 Years of experience in brand management, marketing, or related areas (experience in consumer goods, FMCG, or retail is often preferred).
  • Candidate must be fully bilingual (English & Spanish) - Writting, Reading and speaking

Salary Range



The salary range for this position is $79500.00 - $132600.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
