The Event Marketing Manager plays a key role in the development and implementation of event marketing plans and strategies for the NAMER region that will achieve current and long-range marketing and business objectives. The Event Marketing Manager will be responsible for all areas of the event marketing process, including strategic, creative, financial, and tactical. The Manager reports to the Director Event Marketing.

What you'll do:

The Event Marketing Manager will oversee all event activity, responsible for managing events from research to conception to budget reconciliation to ROI tracking and align them with marketing strategy and business goals. Duties will include the production and management of owned partner events, industry events, Customer and Prospect events, as well as field event support.



  • Responsible for the strategy and execution for large corporate events, smaller conferences, campaign focused events and thought leadership driven initiatives.
  • Collaborate with various marketing teams to help lead our go to market strategy through events, conferences, roundtables and account based marketing.
  • Work cross functionally, define and execute on the program goals, messages, audience generation/email campaigns, collateral, event website and registration, and event logistics.
  • Gather information (including industry trends, competitive intelligence and business goals) and make event marketing recommendations, incorporating program budget, potential effectiveness, event metrics, logistics, calendaring, etc.
  • Listen to marketing and sales business needs, collaborate across teams to define objectives and messaging for events, ensure it aligns with business priorities and event marketing strategies.
  • Design and facilitate internal and client events, including audio-visual production, collateral design, creation and procurement, logistics, budgeting, negotiation and client service.
  • Manage logistical requirements for planning, staging, and shipping or trade show properties, products and supporting elements.
  • Prepare ROI evaluation of events.
  • Establish staffing requirements, obtain approvals and recruit employees to staff all trade shows and internal events.
  • Work cross functionally with measurement and analytics team to report on the effectiveness of events, including leads and other metrics.
  • Establish credibility and build trust with key stakeholders and leadership.
  • Negotiatecontracts and manage relationships with outside
  • Managing operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently.
  • Traveling to on-site inspections and project managing events.


Who you are:



  • 6+ years of experience in events
  • Demonstrated successful planning and executing large and small scale offline events that support business objectives and goals
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail
  • Willingness to travel
  • Be a self-starter with good time management skills #LI-LM2

The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is
$76,900 $141,000 USD
