Summary of Job Duties:The Procurement Professional II serves in a buyer role (first point of review) for all supplier contract transactions in Workday; Processes wet ink printing bids as mandated by Arkansas state law - Amendment 54; Assists procurement staff with all bid openings; Maintains electronic files of bid documents; Data entry - contract repository uploads, other as needed; Runs variety of reports as directed; Performs website updates; Scans bid hard copies residing in file room into Perceptive Content repository; Data entry of monthly vehicle expense reports into the SAVA portal maintained by State of Arkansas Dept of Finance & Administration; Responsible for maintaining up-to-date vehicle reports - contacts departments as necessary regarding late/incorrect/missing vehicle reports; Serves as front desk receptionist duties for Uptown West; Provides office assistance and customer service for the department; Receives and distributes mail and returns or notifies recipient of misdelivered packages; Monitors "4help" email and "uabussvs" voicemail account; answers questions or forwards messages to appropriate parties via email; Maintains office supply inventory and places orders as needed, including orders to print shop; Point of contact for shared copier/printer/scanner - reports issues as needed; maintains inventory of paper; Maintains office property inventory (i.e. computers, etc.) - works with Property Accounting as needed; Maintains shared file of current Certificates of Insurance from suppliers; Mails and keeps records of Travel Cards and eProcurement Cards; Maintains Administrative T-card and makes travel arrangements for staff. Other duties as assigned.

Position is Monday-Friday in office - remote work is not available.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others. Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

  • At least two years of experience in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Basic technology experience in areas related to reporting, web maintenance, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of and experience with using Workday applications

  • Extensive experience in Microsoft Excel

  • At least one to two years of experience in an office environment

  • At least one year of procurement-related experience

Salary Information:

$51,021-57,399 - commensurate with education and experience
