THE JOB:

The Assistant Security Shift Supervisor is primarily responsible for overseeing security officers to ensure the safety and security of all guests and employees. In this role, you will help manage daily operations, enforce company policies, provide training, and ensure compliance with applicable gaming and state laws.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Supervise security officers and staff during assigned shifts, including interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, and evaluating performance.

• Enforce policies and procedures to ensure the security department runs efficiently and aligns with state, local, and company regulations.

• Promote a safe and secure environment for guests and employees by overseeing safety protocols and responding to incidents.

• Act as the liaison with external agencies during security-related events and incidents.

• Address guest and employee concerns in a timely manner, escalating issues to management when required.

• Respond to emergencies, document incidents, and ensure proper follow-up and reporting for resolution.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

• 2+ years of relevant experience as on-site security within a resort/casino environment or law enforcement/military experience.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

• Prior experience in a lead or supervisory role, preferred.
