Position Summary

The Hyperbarics Test & Evaluation Lead (T&E Lead) is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the program testing philosophy, strategy, and plan. The T&E Lead ensures successful execution of tests, supervising the project team, and supporting the change management process as it pertains to the Test & Evaluation Master Plan. As a T&E Lead at OTECH, you will have a hands-on role, directly involved in the testing processes for our cutting-edge technologies and systems. From planning and executing test programs to analyzing results and driving continuous improvement, you will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Your expertise in test strategy development, team leadership, and collaboration will be essential in delivering exceptional results.

Duties & Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL:

* Performs analysis of user requirements, concept of operations (CONOP) documents, and high-level system architectures to develop and guide system testing requirements.

* Guide project system test development and implementation planning through preparation of project-specific test and evaluation master plans (TEMPs), test plans and procedures, and requirement verification traceability matrices (RVTMs).

* Lead or delegate test efforts locally and in the field while maintaining a positive culture of safety and security.

* Coordination of multi-disciplined teams including engineers, technicians, and other support staff.

* Displays excellent technical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to take a holistic approach to system design.

* Reviews progress and evaluates results of work accomplished by self and others.

* Prepares reports and presents results to management and client.

* Professional interaction with customers or clients can be expected on a frequent basis and in some cases may be a significant portion of duties.

* Travel is expected up to 20% of the time to other Oceaneering, vendor, and customer facilities.

ADDITIONAL:

* Participation in and contribution to Test Engineering Departmental meetings.

* Infrequent use of basic hand tools and setup of instrumentation.

* Additional systems engineering duties as assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

* Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering. Other relevant technical BS degrees considered.

* 10 or more years of practical experience in Systems or Test Engineering including the following:

o Contributing to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation including TEMPs, test plans and procedures, test readiness reviews, and RVTMs.

o Managing system test requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that meet system requirements.

o Leading test events consisting of multi-disciplinary teams.

* 3 or more years of experience with manned systems. Emphasis on subsea vehicles or habitats with other manned systems considered.

* Candidate must be able to perform in an ISO-9000 company with a rapidly changing and demanding atmosphere.

* US citizenship is required.

* Existing or obtainable Secret security clearance.

PREFERRED:

* Master's degree, INCOSE (International Council on Systems Engineering) certification, or other professional training in systems engineering.

* Existing or obtainable Top Secret security clearance with CI polygraph.

* Experience with US DOD projects.

SKILLS

REQUIRED:

* Proficiency with Microsoft software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and SharePoint.

* Ability to interpret drawings and schematics for complex electro-mechanical systems.

* Broad understanding of electrical, mechanical, and software test methods.

* Strong leadership skills.

* Working knowledge of SolidWorks PDM (or similar) and ERP/MRP systems.

* Experience interpreting and implementing the following standards:

o ABS Underwater Rules.

o MAN-010/P-9290.

o MIL Standards pertaining to testing such as, but not limited to, 810 and 167.

PREFERRED:

* Working knowledge of systems centered software such as Cradle, Cameo, SysML, DOORS, ModelCenter, or equivalent software. Emphasis on model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler or MagicDraw.

* Strong working knowledge of metrology, statistics, design of experiments, and data acquisition and analysis.

Additional Information

This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.

We offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package. Annualized pay rate for this position is $126,650 - $171,350.
