Job Summary
Oversee the development, implementation, and ongoing delivery of Southwest's global consent management program. Uses expert level skills in consent management, privacy, and Marketing Technology platforms to drive the consent management program forward across the Enterprise. Facilitates compliance with international data privacy regulations, drives Customer trust, and supports data-driven initiatives across the organization. Uses expertise in strategy, planning, and execution to oversee prioritization, manage projects, and facilitate successful delivery of the consent management program.

Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the global consent management program in partnership with Southwest subject matter experts and key stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulations like GDPR, CCPA, and other regional data privacy, marketing and advertising laws and regulations and contractual obligations
- Lead multi-year consent management program planning in conjunction with cross-functional team members, Program Leads, Business, Legal, and Technology partners to ensure integration and alignment with business strategies
- Provide counsel to Sr. Leadership on various issues, including monitoring the pulse of the organization, and serve as the primary point of contact for consent management-related matters across the organization
- Ensure consent management program pipelines are organized, resources are balanced, and ensure coordination and completion of consent-management related projects on time, within budget, and within scope
- Manage highly confidential information and act as a liaison between Executives and other constituencies, both internal and external
- Develop and maintain documentation of consent practices to ensure transparency
- Conduct regular monitoring of consent management processes and systems, addressing gaps proactively
- Support Marketing efforts with insights into consent-based audience segmentation and targeting
- Establish workflows for capturing, storing, and managing user consent in accordance with global and regional data privacy regulations
- Ensure consistency in program data and relevant and timely messaging across deliverables and departments, building a variety of communications programs
- Consolidate talking points and executive summaries ahead of C-suite, Board, and other internal and external meetings
- Identify and influence business process change in support of consent management best practices
- May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leader or key Consent Management stakeholders
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Expert level skills in project management, program management, attention to detail, and complex broad-reaching coordination
- Proficiency with consent management platforms (e.g., OneTrust, Securiti, TrustArc) and/or data privacy and marketing technologies (e.g. Adobe, Salesforce, Transcend)
- Broad understanding of the Marketing technology landscape, including various Martech tools and their integration points
- Familiarity with marketing technology stacks, including CRMs, DMPs, CDPs, analytics tools and tag management systems
- Expert level skills in communicating and influencing, capable of interacting directly and effectively with senior and executive leadership team
- Expert ability to build and maintain a network of key relationships at senior level to influence business decisions; respected and trusted resource
- Ability to implement strategic direction and influence at the Department and enterprise level
- Advanced ability to interpret complex regulatory and business requirements into actionable strategies and expert ability to exercise excellent judgment in handling, researching, and skilled at resolving program issues and risks
- Ability to disseminate information and communicate ideas on behalf of Executives
- Ability to develop, continuously evolve, and move forward a sound strategic vision across multiple cross-functional Teams
- Skill in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Passionate about championing a privacy-first culture within the organization
Education:
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
- Experience, expansive and far-reaching knowledge in:
- Supporting complex corporate governance-related programs
Physical Abilities:
- Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
- Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
- Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications:
- Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
Pay & Benefits: Competitive market salary from $148,500 per year to $165,000 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
