WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Drive specifications of Chemelex products and services at owner accounts.
- Pursue and secure projects that involve any combination of product supply, engineering, and construction services.
- Establish positive relationships with customers, who include, but are not limited to: end users, engineering firms, and OEMs.
- Track project opportunities and manage customers in CRM system and establish a winning strategy resulting in project awards.
- Coordinate with proposal/estimating groups, engineering, project management, and construction teams.
- Receive formal training and mentorship through on-the-job training from Chemelex teams.
YOU HAVE:
- Ideally, Associates or Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 10 + years of previous experience in or with Technical or Industrial sales.
- Proven history of sales excellence, preferably in Heat Tracing or Soft Craft contractor industry.
- Previous experience with SalesForce or comparable CRM tool, and proven ability in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated appetite for vigorous, self-initiated sales call activity.
- Insatiable drive for success; known as a self-motivator who is focused on results.
- Solution seller with strong technical proficiency.
- Highly organized and efficient. Ability to prioritize and exhibit time management skills.
- Uncompromised business and personal ethics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to present and influence views in a clear and compelling manner.
- Abilities to meet the physical and environmental demands of a role that includes job walk-downs in industrial facilities.
- Ability for domestic travel (infrequently) outside of territory.
