Administer and score a battery (>50) neuropsychological and psychological tests to evaluate cognitive and neuropsychiatric functioning under the direct clinical supervision of a licensed neuropsychologist. Position involves working with children, adolescents and adults diagnosed with significant neurodegenerative diseases such as brain tumors, dementia or traumatic brain injury. Some of these patients will have concomitant psychological or psychiatric disorders. This position requires a substantial amount of training, and a minimum of a two-year commitment is requested.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor's Degree Experience: No experience required. Preferred neuropsychological testing experience working with patients of all ages, experience with standardized psychological test administration & scoring, knowledge of behavior management techniques, detail-oriented and organized approach. Licensure: None required PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires standing and sitting for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping and reaching (overhead, extensive, and repetitive). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50 - 100lbs. May be exposed toradiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
