Responsibilities

We are seeking a Project Manager for our Austin office to help lead very exciting and complex projects. The ideal candidate will have a growth mindset that is interested in our shared successes, and is interested in working on technically driven, performance criterium focused projects, including Aviation, Large Municipal, High-rise, or other similarly scaled projects. Being able to work with and be part of a dynamic project team as well as fostering our client relationships are essential traits for our Project Managers. The ideal candidate will have experience with a wide-range of complex projects within any of the following market sectors: Aviation, Advanced Manufacturing, Transportation, Commercial, Healthcare, or Science & Technology.

The responsibilities will include:

  • Lead project team, both internal and external, to improved project outcomes;
  • Align project resources with schedule, goals, and other project criterium;
  • Benchmark and monitor the health of the project scope, schedule, and budget; identify and proactively address potential risks to project success; and ability to course correct if needed.
  • Forecast and organize project design development and delivery;
  • Coordinate with consultants, team members and the client;
  • Foster creative exploration within structured processes and contractual requirements in order to reach the best solutions;
  • Work with client/owner contractor relationships, budget, code and jurisdictional requirements;
  • Offer onsite assistance in constructions observation;
  • Network to build relationships with new clients and return clients.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrate strong leadership, organization, and communication skills - both written and verbal;
  • Degree in architecture with 10+ years of relevant professional experience;
  • Experience with large projects valued at $100MM plus;
  • Knowledgeable in the practice of architecture, including code applicability, detailing skills, overseeing design documentation for construction packages, and proficiency in construction administrative processes;
  • Professional project planning, scheduling, and management skills including:
    • Proven effectiveness in coordinating with contractors, architectural teams, and consultants;
    • Ability to successfully lead/organize a team of multiple disciplines and consultants
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project;
  • Eligible for federal security clearance;
  • Proven track record with public speaking and networking;
  • Excellent writing skills;
  • Available for occasional travel within the US.
